Casting is a fundamental core ingredient to effective fly fishing. Through a good casting technique an angler can improve many aspects of their fishing abilities. A good knowledge base around your casting and the set up you use will give you a better understanding of how the whole process and system of fly fishing is achieved. Here at Piscarifly I am qualified casting instructor with APGAI Ireland, and we have a lot of first-hand experience of fly casting on rivers, Lakes and Salt water. When you decide to take casting lessons it is important to keep in mind the environment in which you will be mostly casting in. This will be important to tailor your casting lesson to suit your needs and experience. Starting someone off casting or improving someone’s ability in fly casting dose however take some time and commitment to practice. Here we will assist you in planning you practice, showing the correct content to be reading or watching and support you as you develop your casting skills.
