Description
The semi-automatic fly reel YOTO is rather compact in its dimensions and very light for a fly reel with semi-automatic retrieve mechanism. The low weight is reached because the fly reel is completely milled from aluminium with a black anodised finish, except for the lever for the line pull-in, which is made of light composite material.
The real surprise of this fly reel, however, is the enormous line retrieve capacity, which is achieved via the semi-automatic mechanism. With each pull on the lever of the winding mechanism, about 2 metres of line are retrieved. The quick rewinding of the line is very useful, especially after the strike, because with just one hand you can reel in the entire fly line you have previously pulled off in no time and have immediately direct contact with the fish. Moreover, you don’t run the risk of losing a fish because your fly line got tangled on your equipment or on the bank.
